GEOFFREY BINDMAN
Chair of the British Institute of Human Rights, visiting Professor of Law at University College London and London South Bank University. He is a solicitor at Bindman & Partners and a member of JFJHRís steering committee.
FRANCESCA KLUG
Professorial Research Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Human Rights at LSE and Director of the Human Rights Futures Project. She was one of the driving forces behind the UK’s Human Rights Act and is author of Values for a Godless Age: The Story of the UK’s Bill of Rights. She is a founder member of JFJHR.
MUSTAFA SULEYMAN
Trustee and former Chair, Muslim Youth Helpline. Currently Policy Officer in the London Mayor’s office responsible for the Research Project on the Impact of the Human Rights Act on London’s most vulnerable communities. He is also a trustee at the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services.
Chair LADY ELLEN DAHRENDORF
Historian and translator of Russian political works. Previously a lecturer at LSE and active in the campaign for human rights in the former Soviet Union. Until recently, she was the British Chair of the New Israel Fund and currently is a member of its International Council. She is a founder member of JFJHR. Tickets: £5 on the door; Concessions £3.
